Privacy Policy

15 Strong is a workout app made by Itay Glick ("we"). This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your workouts stay on your phone, the leaderboard is opt-in, and we don't run analytics or ads.
What stays on your phone
Your workout history, the weights you log, your reminder time and your settings are stored only on your device. We have no account system, and no server receives them. Deleting the app deletes this data. Backups of your phone made by Apple or Google may include it, under their own policies.
Daily reminder
The reminder is a notification scheduled on your phone. No push service or server is involved, and you can turn it off in the app or in your phone's settings.
Subscriptions
Purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID generated on your device, your purchase and subscription status, your device type, operating system version and country. It does not receive your name or payment details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy. Apple and Google handle payment under their own privacy policies.
Leaderboard (optional)
If you choose to join the leaderboard, the app sends our server (15strong.glick.run) the display name you pick, your phone's time-zone offset, and one check-in each day you finish the full workout. To recognise your phone, the app creates a random key and keeps it on the device; our server stores only a one-way hash of it. Your display name and your day counts are public on the leaderboard in the app and on our website. Our server also sees your IP address while handling a request; we use it only to limit abuse and don't store it with your entry. Nothing is sent if you don't join. To delete your entry, choose "Leave the leaderboard" in the app; it is removed from our server at once. Names reported by other users may be hidden or removed.
Voice cues
Spoken cues use your phone's built-in text-to-speech. The app does not use the microphone.
What we don't do
Apart from the optional leaderboard, we don't run any server that receives your data. We don't collect analytics, use advertising identifiers, track you across apps or websites, or sell or share personal information.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices
You can delete any workout in the app's history, or all data by deleting the app. To ask about data held by RevenueCat for your anonymous ID, contact us and we'll help.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
